Being creative helps to relieve my anxieties, I would honestly recommend being creative to occupy and take your mind off distressing thoughts. I like to write short stories, poems, knit, or colour in. I find when I’m in the moment of doing these things, I forget about my worries as I am totally absorbed in what I’m doing. It’s my type of relaxation, I highly recommend it! Another hobby I’ve discovered is card making, the sheer joy and satisfaction I get from making card’s for loved ones and friends makes things worthwhile. When I get inspiration for a poem or a story I’m away, and it makes me great because I just had inspiration to write in the moment and I get great results.
